According to the sources, SpaceX is about to launch its internet satellite sooner than expected. One of the spokesperson of SpaceX revealed that the Company would launch more than 50-star link satellites on May 15, 2019. The Company has placed 60 spacecrafts inside of Falcon9. The launch of Falcon9 would take place from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station which is situated in Florida.
Through his Twitter account, the CEO of SpaceX stated that the satellites are placed inside of a Falcon9 for their launch. Elon Musk also posted the picture of Falcon9 showcasing 60 satellites which would go into space this week.
Back in February 2018, SpaceX had launched Falcon Heavy into the outer space and after two weeks the company had launched two pathfinder satellites. During a press event, Elon Musk stated that their present satellite launch can be considered as production design. If the present launch becomes successful then in the upcoming future SpaceX may send more Starlink satellites into space.
The company is undertaking such an endeavor as it wants people to get faster and cheaper internet connectivity. Through his Twitter account, Elon Musk wrote that the present launch of satellites can be considered to offer minor coverage. He further wrote that if the company would launch 12 more satellites into the outer space after the present endeavor then the coverage level could turn out to be moderate.
Apart from SpaceX companies like Amazon as well as one web are planning to provide space internet connectivity to their customers. Amazon is all set to create a mega-constellation of around a thousand satellites. At present Amazon has filed its mega-constellation as Kuiper systems. Amazon will launch the mega-constellation at lower orbital levels which would give impeccable services to people who do not have proper access to the internet.
